Delete your data

Guitar Scale Finder is made by Double Colourless Limited. The app has no accounts, but it does store some usage data against a random ID. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

How to request deletion

1. Email hi@doublecolourless.com with the subject "Delete my Guitar Scale Finder data".
2. Tell us which device you use (iPhone, iPad or Android) and roughly when you installed the app. If you have a subscription, include the order number from your Google Play or App Store receipt so we can find your records.
3. We'll confirm by email once your data is deleted, within 30 days.

What we delete

• Usage analytics: the screens and scales you viewed and the searches you made (stored with our analytics provider, Mixpanel).
• Paywall and onboarding data: your onboarding answers and paywall views (stored with our subscription provider, Superwall).
• The random user ID that links these together.

What we keep

• Records of purchases and subscriptions, which Google Play or Apple keep and which we must retain for tax and accounting purposes (normally six years under UK law).

Deleting the app also stops any further data being collected. To cancel a subscription, use Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) or your Apple ID settings: deleting your data doesn't cancel it.
